About Us

Brief description

Classes in Iaijutsu (Japanese Swordsmanship & sword drawing, also called Iaido). Certificates may be viewed on request. Iai classes held at Manley St Community Centre on Thursdays 7.30 to 9.00pm. Day seminars and gradings held in Wigan & Stoke-on-Trent

Trade Bodies / Associations

Member of Budoin UK, (Formerly IMAF UK) a martial arts organisation which has for many years been connected to the International Martial Arts Federation (Japan). Seperate membership of IMAF (Japan) can be gained through the Budoin UK Branch Director. (Contact Wigan Bujutsu Kai for more information).

Any Specialist Products or Services?

Kumitachi (partnered sword exercises) & study on basic kenjutsu based on Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu principles. Also Tachi uchi no Kurai (partnered sword forms). Appreciation of jujutsu principles embedded within partner work is also taugh as necessary.
